One of the first lines of defense we have against security problems resides within our Web browsers. During this workshop, i try to explain the relationship between sofware you launch every day and how data are collected or stolen. I also cover advanced topics to improve your protection by teaching how to understand and apply privacy best practices.

This 60 minutes talk is dedicated to people who needs to protect their digital communications and stay safe online, from journalists, researchers to privacy enthusiasts.

If you are interested in this workshop, custom courses or any related projects, feel free to contact me.

Slides are in french for now.

I have been working as an IT engineer (mostly in Web hosting industry) for more than 15 years, with specific interest in Linux internals, TCP/IP networks and software security. I have lived in Montreal (Canada), since 2013.
